E-teaching portfolio
Welcome to my teaching portfolio!
My name is Mikyoung Lim, and I am a Ph.D. candidate in marketing at the Muma College of Business, University of South Florida. Prior to academia, I gained experience in the retail industry, specifically in the health and beauty sector, where I served as a researcher within a business strategy team for four years. During that time, I developed my interest in designing retail environments to enhance the consumer experience. As a former marketing practitioner, I am keen to work on research that can directly influence companies’ business practices, linking industry with academia.
Since the fall of 2022, I have been teaching courses in buyer behavior (or consumer behavior) and digital marketing, closely mirroring my research interests. Teaching has been a reciprocal learning experience, where the exchange with students has been incredibly rewarding. Through my teaching journey, I have established a comprehensive teaching philosophy, which I actively incorporate into my instructional approach. I invite you to explore my e-teaching portfolio to discover more about my theoretical and practical approaches to teaching.
Let's embark on this educational journey together!
